Friend is getting married in Scotland on Thursday, and I’m the best man. Flying to ATL then to Heathrow. Spending a couple days in London before picking up a rental car and driving up to Scotland; really hoping the rental is an A-Class; would be equally happy with a 1er. I’ll be posting random updates when I have WIFI. Might get some sweet pictures of the rental in front of a castle. Oh right, they’re getting married in a castle.

I’m just hoping the rental is as good as the last one I had in Europe:

Just buy a data only SIM card. Take it from someone who lives here, London is a lot easier to be in when you have access to the internet. Also London is cheaper when you have contactless payments so get that Apple/Android pay set up.

Enjoy it! I will be in Ireland shortly after you...cept I just get dropped off in downtown and walk everywhere...or stumble...depends on the time of day

I’ll be there for a day and a half. I’ve got some data on my phone, but not enough to casually browse Oppo with. Not really concerned, if I survived Tyumen Russia, not really worried about needing my phone in London.

Which castle?

If your going to the west of Scotland easiest and fastest route would be M25 out of Heathrow, north west onto the M40 and then plain sailing up the M6.
